Now owned by Harrah's Entertainment, the Grand Casino had three locations; namely, Gulfport, New Orleans and Tunica. Caesar's Entertainment properties once, the latter two casinos now are being converted to the Horseshoe Brand. From games like blackjack to the fast action to the fast action of craps, the New Orleans location features some 2,100 slot machines, 10 varieties of table games at more than 100 tables and 20 poker tables at its 115,000 square feet gaming destination. Once known as the Grand Casino Tunica, the casino underwent a name change and is now the new Harrah's Tunica Casino. It offers 24 hour gaming action with more than 60 table games and 2000 slots. The Grand Casino Gulfport was destroyed by the Hurricane Katrina. As the casino barge was washed ashore and was partially blocking Beach Boulevard, authorities were left with no choice but to implode the casino in an effort to clear the road. Harrah's Entertainment had since sold the site to Gulfside Casino Partnership.

Online Strip poker is a game of poker which does not involve money. However in the terms of losing, losers will have to remove items of their clothing. Though strip poker are generally not often played, there a number sites which offers free download of software to allow players to enjoy strip poker in the privacy of their own homes. Some of these sites include bunny poker, strip poker and pokermoker. You must be wondering how online strip poker is played. There a number of ways to play it. A lot of California casinos are found in (quite) obscure places, they are situated on Native American turf. As such, if you are travelling to California from a great distance, better call ahead if your destination is one of those places. So many California poker rooms run 24 hours, and they are permitted by law to operate gaming machines, card games and blackjack. It may interest you to know that roulette and craps are not allowed, but there are California Poker Rooms that are able to circumvent this prohibition. How: they have altered the 2 games to be played using cards instead of the wheel or the dice. Slots and video poker are the most sought-after electronic gaming found in this state's poker rooms. The card games often proferred by the California poker rooms are baccarat, poker, 3-card poker, bingo, Let it ride, and even OTB- that is off-track betting. You may not be an avid gambler, but it would interest you to know that many of these casinos offer 18-hole golf courses and even chapels (think weddings).

Party Poker players can avail of numerous bonuses for signups, reloads, and other transactions. These are usually obtained by entering a bonuscode from Party Poker or its affiliate websites, such as TightPoker.com. Most of them, however, are exclusive to players with money accounts. You can get one for yourself by making an initial deposit of around $50. Signup bonus codes are not offered by Party Poker itself, but by its partner websites. You can get over $6,000 in freerolls provided you meet the requirements for clearing. Reload bonuses are meant for existing members and are offered seasonally, so check back once in a while to get them. For most bonuses, you need to meet a certain number of hands to release the bonus. To clear or credit the bonus to your account, the 7x rule applies: complete raked hands equivalent to 7 times the amount of the bonus. That means for a $100 bonus, you need to complete 700 hands.

Sometime back, when PokerPages came out with their PokerPages Player Statistics database, thing got significantly better for their loyal patrons, and a lot of individuals who were hesitant on joining the room made up their minds to be regular customers as well. This is a Poker (Stat) Player, for it is focused on numbers, but not only that facet. PokerPages Player Statistics (that is actually the name) allows one to read up on WSOP cash winners, how their money winning positions get affected- meaning, if they are going up or down on the lists. This Poker (Stat) Player program monitors individual stats of players, or stats by nation, or via game kind, and stats from all over the world map. Indeed, if you cannot comprehend the cruciality of this kind of benefit, I think you must be reading this while sleeping. This Poker (Stat) Player program could even serve researchers/writers, even the non-gambling ones. Like, if you want to find out who the top 7 Razz players of US are, this program could answer that. If you are intent on becoming a world-class poker player, you would do well to get one of these, or at least a parallel program.

It has been raging on for some time now, and I am referring to coffeehouse talks regarding the poker cheating program. A lot of inquiries are being dished out, and it is logical to assume that most of those asking are gamblers who wish to cheat, rather than those who are simply worried. Without mentioning any online room's name, it is safe to assume that this is how they operate: they would only send to the user's computer those that need to be sent, namely his hand and the board. It is just in the showdown that data on the others would be sent to his, in the parlance of the intelligence entities (like the CIA), it is just a 'need to know' basis. While the geniuses would always come up with a new poker cheating program (bot or not), rest assured that it is very near 0%, the odds of sending data to servers which would allow the gambler to acquire cards of his selection. For this to be done, intentional tampering from an insider of the online room would have to happen, and the typical online room knows that if they allow such to happen, the very worst would come to them.

In case it has escaped your attention, so many American poker buffs have been going to ePassporte, and why so? Another good question: which ePassporte poker rooms are dedicated to the American populace? Let me say this right here and now, if you are a newbie, and all your playing hours are at the gratis levels of the poker online rooms, then this piece is not really for you, but if you are a serious gambler, read on. ePassporte holds the promise of becoming a major depositing avenue for the Americans, this is because they have the upside of both e-wallets and the credit cards. Characteristics: easy to utilize, permits anonymity- thus security, and they even allow the public to shop online. (Even if your wife does not gamble, she might just like this one huh?) Do not take my word for it, check it out yourself, there are now a number of ePassporte Poker Rooms, and let me just give one, Absolute Poker. OK...I'll give one more, the much-touted Full Tilt. It is clearly one of the movers and shakers in the industry, and this site has a wide offering of poker, they are Holdem, Omaha, Omaha 8 or better, Razz and variants of the Seven Card.

There are various classes of poker games, all of them exciting. But, this is one fact that you can't dispute: of all poker games, Texas Hold 'Em is the crowd's favorite. Well, whoever invented Texas Hold 'Em must be very grateful to the movie and television producers that saw its commercial viability. Now, whenever you go to casino joints or even poker gaming sites on the Internet, you'll notice that there's always Texas Hold 'Em on their featured games lists. Texas Hold 'Em has also been known as the "it" game of poker. Come on, why do you think would the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour bother to keep it on the air if it's not? Yesterday, my friend and I debated about the possible reasons why, of all poker games, Texas Hold 'Em became the most beloved of the enthusiasts. We sort of researched and we found out that not so long ago, the most popular poker game is not Texas Hold 'Em but the seven card stud. What's the difference between the two? It's the classification--Texas Hold 'Em is a community card game and seven card stud is, well, a stud game. So, what came out of our argument? Nothing really significant, because we love both games. But perhaps, we both agreed, the reason why Texas Hold 'Em became more popular is that it requires only one deck of cards for the entire table, whereas in a stud game, each one has to have his own deck of cards. Now, the next question is, does this have something to do with the current credit crunch?

For the longest time I've been a customer at the local casino, poker seemed to me as, well, "just that game." I refused playing on poker tables at the casino because I thought they're for the "not so elite" or the "below the top notch" peoples. That was during the years when life was a bit easier, my family owns an insurance selling business, and we're among those people you can really call "well off." To people who are well off, the idea of an occasional game play at the local casino is merely for us to flaunt our money. Poker didn't seem so cool because if you lose, you still get something. I mean, people are going to admire you more if you walk away confident because you thought you got a bottomless wallet. Well, what happened was, the credit crunch hit our country hard, and yes, our business. I no longer go to the local casino. I'm just too ashamed to go there. I would just go online and, well, try playing poker. And, you know what? Poker's actually not so bad after all. I've learned that it's even the top ranking casino game in the world. And, it does earn you huge returns.
